Cindera Che began her career at the age of twelve dancing in a weekly television variety show in her home country Taipei, Taiwan. After moving to the United States in 1977, her enthusiastic and inquisitive nature led her to
the exciting career of being a dancer and choreographer.
Cindera’s mission is to use the art of dance to educate and liberate people. She teaches her students how to achieve a better relationship with their bodies and heighten their sensibilities to be able to create a powerful performance. She pledges to inspire, encourage and instruct, in that order.
In addition to coaching and choreography, Cindera speaks at women’s events to promote sensuality awareness. She also produces and performs in projects in her spare time. Cindera lives with her family in Los Angeles.
Featured Project:
MOOT - A sci-fi adventure in which Cindera co-produced with her husband Ryan Nellis
Cindera’s teaching is shaped by the following proverb:
We teach our children to paint,
So they learn how to see.
We teach our children to sing,
So they learn how to hear.
We teach our children to dance,
So they learn how to feel.
